Dear 10X Business Builder,
One of the questions we receive often from the members of our community is this one:
“Should I tell my signature story in the beginning, middle or end of my presentation?”
As an Influencer, you know that it is very important to tell your signature story (aka hero’s story, hero’s journey, personal story, influencer story, etc) in the majority of presentations you do.
I personally tell my signature story every time I meet a new person or I speak in front of a live audience for the first time.
There are only a few exceptions when I don’t tell my personal story:
a) When I record our weekly education videos (like this one). It does not make sense to tell my signature story in our weekly videos because it is a shorter presentation format.
b) When the audience already knows who I am and they have recently heard my story.
In all other presentations I do (one-on-one presentations, 5-minute presentations, 1-hour presentations, 3-day events, webinars, product launch’s, etc, ) I tell my signature story.
Needless to say, knowing when to use your signature story is really important.
